Shadow House PITS
Workshop & Educational Program
The workshop program provides for challenging experiences not usually found in University or Drama School training. This makes them appealing for actors and theatre artists wishing to extend their performance range and to find a greater depth of approach.
Shadow House PITS workshops draw on the inspiration and challenge of Antonin Artaud's writing and emphasis while also targeting such approaches within the framework of the purpose and techniques espoused by Bertolt Brecht.

The
Four States of Artaud: Evoking
the MESH The Four States of Artaud is a workshop designed for anyone over the age of 18 wishing to extend intuitive and creative powers. Antonin Artaud is the inspiration for these workshops which use simple techniques to evoke profound experiences. The workshops offer introductory techniques for releasing locked up creative possibilities for performance and communication. First part of the workshop will be in "seminar" format. This will be followed by a very physical and active workshop coupled with time for reflection. |
